Portland, Oregon
August 6, 2011

His Grace, Michael Schmickrath, traveled to Portland Oregon for his annual visit
to the Priory of the Pacific Northwest.

Some members accompanied His Grace on a tour of the Skedco facility. Skedco supplies our Military medics with self contained Emergency Medical packs.

H.G. Douglas Bailey shows the featherweight design of Skedco's medical pack.

The philosophy of the company is the sooner our troops can get treatment, the better the survival chances for our injured men and women. They are in the process of research and design of an apparatus for training emergency technicians & first responders in life-like injury scenarios. The company has traveled to many countries where military actions are ongoing, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran for example.

The afternoon was filled with a gathering of the Pacific Northwest Priory members for food, fun and companionship.

The evening ended with a donation presented to the Portland Aspergers Network (PAN), a local group working to support kids & teens, parents & families with Autism.
